Born in 1956, Dunkerque France. Since 1984, he constructs instruments (strings, winds, percussions), with found objects, and little by little organized a vocabulary of sounds that drove him to consider music as a landscape. Later he started to combine the found objects-instruments with all kinds of electric devices and sound machines.
Looking at a Lejunter performance you feel like you’re into some strange garbage dump that suddenly comes to life in the most peculiar way; rhythms originating from thrown away objects, strange weird sounds coming from obsolete machines, and this thin weird guy that runs around this kind of installation, doing all the necessary bits to keep the whole thing running, and in the same time, letting this strange sort of music escape from it…
